In my Next Gen LMS course, we also created a course via Blackboard Coursesites. It used the same basic concepts as the Canvas course, but was a much different experience. This LMS didn’t have quite all of the same capabilities as were available in Canvas, but its quiz capability was better, in my opinion, than that of Canvas.

In Blackboard I created a course about Viking Mythology. This was a simple three module course setup, but I chunked the information in a way that would make new information about Norse gods and goddesses more manageable. The first module is just an introduction to the course and the syllabus. The second module, the three most famous gods were covered, Odin, Thor and Loki while in the third module, Frigg and Heimdall were discussed. Within these modules there were also discussion topics, quizzes and an assignment. Below you can view a video of the Blackboard course.
