Welcome to Jenella.

For the past six years I have worked heavily in the financial industry at two companies as an Instructional Designer since graduating from Wayne State University with a Bachelors in Learning Design & Technology where I graduated Summa Cum Laude.

I also have five years prior experience in Instructional Design in the pharmaceutical industry. During my tenure at that company, I created training for an entire Quality Assurance group that comprised of around 200 people.

I enjoy helping people solve problems in creative ways. In addition to my learning design experience, I’ve also dabbled in IT work while in college. Along with my learning design experience I have also worked closely with and in HR. And with all projects I’ve had to excel in project management.

  • Create, modify, & deploy unique & engaging instructional design materials, both collaboratively and independently.

Quality Assurance Master Trainer from November 2013 to December 2016

  • Served as subject matter expert on best practices and state of the art training delivery methodologies, curriculum development etc.

  • Designed and conducted site training programs to meet compliance goals, meet development needs, and support operational excellence initiatives.

  • Worked on cross-functional projects which support product operations as well as quality and compliance.

  • Prepared training session plans including the method, media, and documentation to be presented. Lead group training sessions. Conducted follow up to determine applicability of course material.

  • Conducted orientation, on-boarding and training of new hires in QA and disseminate information on the updated procedures and policies to all employees applying adult learning techniques.

  • Coordinated with managers the schedule of training and testing.

Shift Trainer from April 2012 to November 2013

  • Delivered high quality and high impact learning products, programs and services that provided functional knowledge for site staff to achieve a high level of performance in their jobs.

  • Maintained shifts compliance with procedures through the Learning Management System.

  • Conducted orientation and on-boarding of new hires for their first week of employment.

  • Trained fellow employees on the correct procedures as per the FDA regulated Standard Operating Procedures.

IT Experience

Ave Maria Foundation

IT Support Specialist from June 2017 to June 2020

  • Helped to create new on-boarding training, as needed, for HR department.

  • Assisted in initial set up of four company Google sites: Ave Maria HR, Domino’s Farms Chapel, Domino’s Farms Fitness Center & Ave Maria Foundation.

  • Set up new user accounts, computers, email accounts and phones.

  • Assisted in day to day IT and Telecom requests that were submitted.

  • Ran telecom billing on a monthly basis.
